We brought the dishwasher and it worked great the 1st year the second year it started not to clean as well and would leave water in the bottom of dishwasher. now it doesn't wash. it cycle thru. fills with water does not wash ,no noise that the dishwasher is working then it drains water. dishes are dirty and dry no water sprayed on them. no noise of motor working. pure disappointment.

Although this dishwasher was the least expensive on the market and cleans the dishes well, it started to have problems after only 2 years of purchase. It started to rust on the upper rack, which is a safety hazard. Now, it is leaving sufficient soap residue on the dishes in the upper rack that we have to rewash them by hand. We did not change soap.

I'm disappointed that the dishwasher, which is less than two years old, no longer has heated water. I found out that we'd need to replace the panel, which is so expensive.

I have this model for two and half years. I always use cascade packed detergent and rinse aid. After a year the soap dispenser stopped pop up during the washing cycle and makes a loud noise when it is time. So I had to open the door and open the soap dispenser manually, and since then this is the only way to get soap out. Both my racks rusted and started to falling apart, and I repaired it with vinyl repairing paint. I clean regularly inside the dishwasher with dishwasher cleaner. And recently everything doesn't come clean, all glassess looks foggy stains on the plates etc. still makes loud noise, detergent dispenser can't pop up. I checked to change detergent dispenser part is almost $100 and looks like it doesn't worth to spend this much money which it is not sure it will work efficiently after spending that amount. Sorry but I had other brands before which I used them at least ten years.

My three-year-old dishwasher still works fine, but some of the panel lights have burned out. When I called Amana about getting new lights, I was told that I would need an entire new panel, which costs about $89, and it would need to be installed by a technician. I might as well buy a new dishwasher, and it certainly won't be an Amana.

My daughter has the same dishwasher so I know it works well. Her use was daily and I only use mine occasionally but I know it is a good quality for heavy duty every day use,this will last me for my lifetime.

We were tired of spending $500.00 + for a highend dishwashers only to have them last less then 4 years. This time we spent half the price on the Amana and it was easy to install, has enough settings, and it is fairly quiet. Did not give it a 5 star because we have only had it for about 3 weeks. Oh did I mention it is made in America!

My old dishwasher had died and when I looked to repair it I found that I could purchase this new Amana for only $100 more than the repair. It was easy to install and it works great. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles of some of the more expensive models but it does everything I need! I love it!

We needed to replace our old one and we got this one. It handles everything and then some. The only thing about about the set up is that it should have stated about needed an special elbow to hook up the water supply on the outside of the box. Our old one didn't have that elbow and we didn't know we needed it until we open the box and looked at the instructions and had to go back to the store to get it.

Have owned for 18 months, entry level, but also low end. Clips holing the top rack in broke after 6 months. Circulation pump went out after 18 months. Lacking basic features such as delayed start and is very noisy.

This new dishwasher gets the job done. It is nice and quiet, and really leaves the dishes clean. I bought this dishwasher to replace an older one, and the only problem I had was the connection to the old water source. Found the kit at Home Depot, but just wish that it came with it. Love it !!

This dishwasher does an excellent job cleaning my dishes. I read the manual before using the machine. I think this really helped in using it properly. My dishwasher of 15 years decided to quit, and I needed a new dishwasher that would fit with my budget. It may not have all the "magical" buttons that my other dishwasher had, but there is less to go wrong and simply does its job very quietly. This machine for the cost has rose above my expectations. I am very happy that I purchased it.

I bought this dishwasher from Home Depot on sale and while it may not have very many options it cleans incredibly is quiet and has lots of room inside to clean a service for 6 easily. Would recommend to anyone who wants a dishwasher that is not overpriced and cleans superbly.

I had a dishwasher someone gave us because it was so loud. We went to replace it when it finally started to annoy me. We looked at what Home Depot had to offer in a cheaper dishwasher. This was to go in our barn apartment. I love the deeper upper rack, I can now put taller glasses in it. It has two jet arms so there is no pop up water jet to take away dish rack space. I prefer it's side utensil rack to the basket in the center. I had no expectations for this dishwasher, so I was pleasantly surprised when I liked it so much better than the last one. Later this year we will be buying appliances for our new house and I will look at Amana appliances. So for the cost of this appliance so far it is well worth it.

When my dishwasher developed a hole in it's bottom and began to leak into my basement I worried how I could afford to replace it. I am retired on a fixed income and I found this dishwasher at my local Menard's. It has all the features of my old dishwasher and it was a price I could afford. I love it!! It gets my dishes sparkling clean and is extremely quiet. I installed it myself and it was not hard to do. It took me about 90 minutes to pull out the old dishwasher and install the new one. You will love the fact that you can wash large cookie sheets and pizza pans without having to readjust the racks.

Purchased and installed just over a month ago and have been pleasantly surprised. Noise level lower than expected and cleaning power better than we thought for this price range. We will definitely think Amana for all our appliances when we upgrade our kitchen in the next 6 to 12 months.

I have had the dishwasher for about three weeks. We immediately noticed that the deeper upper level make loading easy. It is also much quieter than our old unit. Add this to the great price and it makes it hard to beat!

I received this item as a gift about a month ago. I was very excited to be receiving a dishwasher after waiting for many years. If the dishes aren't rinsed well, they don't get very clean. Also, this model doesn't have many features.
