I have had this fridge for 3 years. When I first ordered it, they brought me a dented up fridge, the second one that came was dented too. The third one did not look plumb but I was tired of waiting for a fridge so I accepted it. The fridge itself looked pretty cool in the show room. I year later ( RIGHT AFTER WARRANTY EXIRED) the ice maker froze up and I had to pay a repairman $250 to fix it. About 6 months later half the display went out. Now after a few power outages the fridge part is too cold and freezing everything. I tried to get service but its 5 days out due to covid. Will I buy one again. Unlikely

Worst Fridge ever

Every review I've read describes all the problems perfectly. I have had this fridge serviced numerous times. It just stops working and the temps keep fluctuating from 47 to 59 degrees. I've had the control unit replaced 2 times already, the fridge makes horrible noises and now it simply won't go below 57 degrees currently. I will never purchase another Frigidaire product in my live. Since I moved into my new home, we had to replace a Frigidaire stove and dishwasher all within 2 years, and it looks like this fridge is out the door as well. Your tagline of "Legendary Reliability" is an absolute joke. Thousands of dollars lost between appliances and food and the customer service is atrocious.

My husband purchased this refrigerator for me about a year ago. Refrigerators are not cheap and apparently these have a major problem with the ice machine. The motor keeps freezing up creating this horrible humming noise. I would like to hear back from someone at Frigidaire. It appears this is a manufacturers defect. I have read the reviews and a refrigerator and this frog has some major issues. A refrigerator should last a lot longer than a year or two.

As others have reported this refrigerator leaks and nothing appears to solve the issue. My beautiful pine floors have been ruined by the leaking. I will be replacing it as soon as I possibly can to avoid further damage.

Ice forms on the floor of the freezer, and then water leaks out of the freezer. This leak damaged the cabinets in the the counter next to the fridge. I do not recommend this refrigerator.

Biggest regret of all of our appliance purchases was this refrigerator. Within the first 2 months it needed a new compressor, the ice maker has been replaced twice, it's still noisy, and the ice maker is still just awful. Get's jammed up constantly. Now the most recent issue is the temperature display on the front isn't lighting up consistently. Glad we paid extra for the Lowe's extended warranty. The next thing that goes wrong outside of that plan and this fridge is going to the dump, I wouldn't give it to my worst enemy. Frigidaire did me the "Favor" of extending my factory warranty by 2 months...what a waste.

one of the worst purchases ever, had issues within the first year and now four years out had to replace a part that broke (the part the cools the fridge from the freezer), and now the doors don't stay closed. The display screen has had issues from early on, it's hit or miss on if the ice maker churns out ice. In fact, with the exception of my stove, every appliance in my kitchen has been really bad, i will never, ever buy Frigidaire again and recommend everyone steer clear of their horrid products.

This is the absolute worst refrigerator I have ever bought. The first one installed was taken back the next day because the doors made a clicking sound. The next one did the same exact thing. I was told that sometimes doors do that- wow, I am 50 and never heard that from ANY appliance. OK. I take great care of my appliances, and this is only two years old with Broken parts. Not to mention that we had a service guy come out three times. He even said you better get the extended warranty, which we had. The ice shoot always jams, and ice pours out at random times of the day (this was replaced twice.) We have to leave a rolled up towel under the ice shoot. Let's not forget the crazy noises it makes when it does decide to make ice. My friends have even asked what the noise was.There are several cracks inside the near the shelves, and the white plastic is turning colors. And no, I do not have small children that make messes. I am pretty sure that I will never buy another frigidaire again. That is sad to me, because I really once believed that they were the best. I am not the kind of person to ever write bad reviews, I am sure that I bought the lemon of this appliance. Can't wait for it to break down completely so my husband will allow me to buy something else. Sorry Frigidaire, I think this was a fail.

My brother takes very good care of his things. I love his fridge too. One day, he pulled out the fridge to vacuum around And under it. He then noticed the rust spot. This is in the left side, towards the back, where no one really touches it. My fridge/freezer is much older than his too! I have never seen a fridge rust before. Very disappointed

The Fridge/Freezer is okay, but the icemaker is worthless. It makes Ice fine, but there's 2 metal parts that are in the ice bin that RUST, so all the ice gets rust in it! It was one that was made in Mexico, and I think it went downhill once that started happening. If we cant get this fixed, we won't ever buy a Frigidaire again, and I'll make sure that everyone in my extended family doesn't ever buy one......

Worst refrigerator ever

This is the worst refrigerator I have ever paid for. That™€™s probably why it™€™s discontinued. The thing that makes this the worst refrigerator ever is the ice machine/water dispenser. Anytime you go to get water and you deep press the button to activate the water the water keeps spraying for half a second after you move the cup. Then when you go to get ice, sometimes the ice gets stuck in the dispenser causing a backup. I often have to manually restart the ice machine because it gets stuck halfway through and stops making ice. if you bare tap the dispense button sometimes I™€™ve will shoot out and the dispenser stays open after you™€™ve depressed the it Tom causing ice to fall out and onto the ground. Very poorly designed piece of waste a space.

Almost 3 years old and its leaking water from Ice Maker. Relaced Icemaker and Water Valve still water dripping into the bottom freezing up. Its not the back drain. Water is leaking from icemaker tray and running outside the panel that covers coil and were the drain is located.

I have had several issues with this unit, included but not limited to: broken/loose seals and gaskets around the door. Hairline cracks throughout the interior of the unit. The ice machine! The ice machine get jammed. One time it got jammed to the point the metal ring continued to grind the ice and we had metal shards in our ice. Now at year 4 of having it the compressor went out so its not cooling. Again, stay away. This has been such a burden to my family, with a family with 4 kids you need a reliable fridge and this is not it. Our kitchen is the staple room in our home, when guests come over its embarrassing when they go to open the freezer and food comes flying out because we had to take the shelves out because they are flimsy. It has been an inside joke now when people come over. Save yourself the service and technician/repair fees. Within the 1 year warranty we had to call Frigidiare 5 times!!!

Do not buy a Frigidaire gallery refrigerator

My Frigidaire gallery refrigerator is the most unreliable appliance I have ever purchased. This is the third time I've needed the evaporator fan replaced. THREE TIMES I've lost all the foodin the refrigerator. I strongly recommend no one purchase a Frigidaire product based on this unreliable performance. It is disgraceful that you pay top dollar for a product and you can't rely on it. I thought Frigidaire stood for quality. sadly I was mistaken.

Unproperly labeled and no warnings!

My wife and I purchased a home about a year and half ago and this was the first appliance that we purchased. We were really excited for this great looking product. We had it professionally delivered and set up which was part of the purchase. The delivery and set up was smooth but with little to no communication from the deliverers. We had to move the refrigerator a month later for some painting and we laid it on its back for a couple minutes and than lifted it back upright. We noticed that the appliance was not cooling at all. The power was on, everything worked but it was not cooling at all. Come to find out by calling a couple repair shops, that if you lay the appliance on its back, the oil from the compressor will leak into the coolant lines and create a blockage! We had no idea this would happen and now we have a problem that will cost hundreds of dollars to fix! It's well past the 1 year warranty that comes with the appliance and now we are without a working refrigerator. If the packing from the appliance or the appliance itself was properly labeled or had any warnings of from doing this to the appliance, this problem wouldn't have happened and our $1000 + appliance would be still working. I can't believe an appliance that costs this much doesn't have any obvious warnings that prevents their customers from making these kinds of mistakes. This will be the last time I purchase an appliance from Frigidaire and I won't be recommending this company to anyone.

Ice on bottom of freezer

We recently noticed water collecting on the floor near the refrigerator/freezer. Then we found about a gallon of ice on the bottom of the freezer. It took an hour to melt and break up the ice, and then I took apart the freezer. The drain from the pan that collected water from the de-icer was blocked, and because of this, the water was overflowing into the bottom of the freezer, and re-freezing. I was unable to unplug the drain, so I just put it all back together, and will just live with it, periodically getting rid of any ice on the bottom of the freezer. I saw one other review mentioning the same problem. Is there any way to unplug the drain?

We have had our counter-depth Frigidaire for four years, and I™€™m very happy with it. We replaced a behemoth side-by-side and lost inside capacity - yet I seem to be able to fit more into this one. I™€™m chalking it up to the glass shelves and shallower depth, which means food doesn™€™t get ™€œlost™€ in the back. My only complaint is the ice dispenser - we had it replaced early on because it dripped. Now it™€™s fine, though ice can come out fast and furious and a few times has jammed. But it™€™s an easy fix and a small inconvenience for a refrigerator that has otherwise served us well.

Current problem

All of a sudden the freezer is starting to ice up. Of course our 3 year protection plan just ended. Had a repairman out to check it and so far he's come up with no reason. Very disappointed in it right now. The front panel board was replaced while it was still under warranty so that was a good thing. But now this. Not real happy and can find no answer as of yet.

Poor design, cube jam, noisy

Bought from Home Depot 10/2017. Ice cube shute dispenser gets blocked with every use....every day. Cubes are stuck together and jam the shute. Then the ice logjam drops out several handfuls of ice all over the floor. When you remove the ice storage bin you cannot push it back in until you remove the ice cream tray above it and manually lift the ice cube wire signal arm out of the way!!! Nothing in the manual about this. You could very easily break the arm. Noise: very annoying noises. Squeals, squirting, water running, clicking, snapping. Sounds like an intruder in the middle of the night. I have a 14 year old Maytag with a flawless ice maker and cube system and very quiet. It's 2019! We perfected the ice maker technology about 30 years ago. Why is Electrolux trying to reinvent the wheel? My guess is Home Depot is forcing Electrolux to make a lower quality cheaper product. Same as the WalMart business model. Very poor engineering quality. Oh....and the dimmer switch light effect when you open the door?....silly gimmick.You wait 3 seconds for full brightness.

Ice Layers in the bottom of Freezer

we purchased our house almost 7 years ago, it was a "flip" and the appliances came with the house, unfortunately not sure where the appliances were stored or purchased from, but over the last year now, we have been dealing with the freeze up at the bottom of the inside of our freezer making the water then eventually drip out onto the hardwood floors and causing some water damage. We have ripped the freezer apart, we have poured Boiling water into the drain hole and still after just doing this on Sunday we already have ice on the bottom of the freezer and its only Wednesday! Not sure what other options we have. But i wouldnt recommend this refrigerator to anyone.

I remodel my kitchen approximately 1 1/2 ago and purchased the all of my appliance from Frigidaire. Within 8 months the gasket on the refrigerator pull apart from the door which caused the door not to seal. I contacted service department and they replaced gasket. Within 4 months of the gasket being replaced the gasket pull apart from the door again. The gasket for the door is a poor design.

I bought this a month ago and i am sorry i did the words showing water cubed and crushed do not light up so you have to be careful and sure to getr what you want also the water outlet is so close to the front that a small glas will have to be checked carefully also i did not receive a manual when delivery was made and i need one also nothing to fill out that i own it if major problems occur it came from home depot

Bought this fridge as we liked the narrow size that fits great with our counters. Bought 17 months ago. It has always been on the noisy side. Ice maker seems to jam at the dispenser quite often, but now it sounds possessed. Thankfully bought the extended warranty. Why must consumers have to buy extended warranty on all appliances these days? Life span of major appliances these days is tragic.

Fridge was great at first, although it is very noisy. Within 2 years, the ice maker needs replacement, and one of the digits on the display is out. My previous fridge, I had for over 16 years, with not 1 issue.I do like the storage space and design.

At first this thing's was perfect. Then the lights on the panel started going out 2 years in and we had to keep resetting the ice maker because it would run out of ice. Now (3.5) years in and the ice maker won't stop making ice and we have to manually turn it off so it won't overflow. Lights are still broken. Pretty disappointed that we are considering getting a new fridge not even 4 years after our purchase.

Unfortunately this came with my 5th wheel. Water dispenser is ridiculously slow even with a new filter. The ice maker works intermittently. The drawers have no rollers so they do not open/close very good at all. It does look good and holds temperature well. I would not recommend this refrigerator.

We bought this model one year ago. Within the first year the ice maker has been replaced twice with factory ice makers and worked on twice. So a total of four service calls. The ice maker continues to work itself away from the contact points so you continuously have to push it back in to get it to work. Now the cooling compressor has gone out. If you buy this model get the extended warranty and expect a lot of service calls and headaches.

You have to open refrigerator door past 90 degrees to pull out the plastic cooling doors, or you hit the refrigerator door gasket.2 If you use some crushed ice, then go to cube ice comes out to fast and spills all over.3 If ice gets caught in the little ice dispensing door, ice and water will not stop coming out until you get the ice clog fixed by then you have water/or ice all over the floor.

I bought this refrigerator for a kitchen remodel and it died after only three years. I had appliance repair here and they even spoke to Frigidaire on the phone. The compressor on the refrigerator went. I replaced it with a whirlpool brand. My previous whirlpool refrigerator last 20 years. What are incredible waste of money and resources. I would never buy a Frigidaire product again.

Fridge has been great. Problem is the interface panel. Seems that annually we have to have it replaced. Luckily we are on an extended service plan so it's covered at no additional cost, but we are on the third replacement of the panel now because lines in the display go dead.

Good but has its faults

Strengths: roomy, adjustability of shelves, quiet enough, fingerprint resistant cabinet. Weaknesses: very variable temp from top(too warm) to bottom (too cold) of the refrigerator section. Milk needs to be down low and salad up top. Lettuce freezes if you use the drawers at the bottom. If milk is on top shelf, it turns in 3 days. Solution is to rearrange foods where you wouldn't normally put them, and use the drawers only for very hardy vegetables like root vegetables. Too bad, otherwise this would be a great refrigerator.

We've had this fridge for a little over a year now. We bought it as a second fridge for our garage. We wanted a counter depth so we'd have a replacement for our kitchen fridge if that one stopped working since that fridge is about 10 years old now. This fridge works great. My only complaint is that nearly right away the LCD panel on the front that shows the temps inside had voids nearly right away so you can't tell what the actual temp is inside the fridge or freezer. The temperatures on the outside screen are really nice to have so you can see if everything is working ok without having to open the fridge doors.

It keeps the cold food cold and the frozen food frozen. The water comes out clean but I would like if it were colder. You have to use the ice to get cold water but sometimes the ice has that stale taste (even when I dump it out so the fridge makes fresh ice). The display pad is easy enough to figure out and the fridge runs with very little noise (important in an open floor plan).

Functionally it keeps items cold and does its job. Sometimes the ice machine malfunctions but oh well that's understandable and usually figures itself out eventually. But overall I'm very disappointed that the display is not functioning as intended. It appears as though multiple portions of the LED display have burned out for no apparent reason. It hasn't lasted more than 1 year. It's rather annoying when friends ask about it multiple times. I wish this could be easily fixed, even though the issue shouldn't have happened on the first place. Unfortunately this is rather terrible quality.

The ice despenser is not that great on this appliance. The ice continually clogs up the despencer and forces the rubber seal to remain in an open position. THis seems to be a design issue that needs to be corrected.

The seal kept popping out around the fridge door. Took me sticking it back in every couple of weeks for months before it finally stayed in place. The ice dispenser dumps like an avalanche and the water dispenser is too far out and sprays past our cups. Water filters are incredibly expensive to replace. But my food is cold.
