We have had this washer a week now, and are happy so far. We bought it to replace a SAMSUNG front loader that was no longer working. We have been using this same model Maytag at our beach house since 2017. We have been happy with it, so it was an easy decision when the SAMSUNG died.

I have used this new machine for a couple of weeks and am very happy with it. It extracts so much moisture from the clothes that my drying time has been cut by ten minutes per load. Being short, it is difficult to reach wet clothes at the bottom so a small stool is necessary.

This washer is enormous. It will take the largest, dirtiest loads that you can fit and they will come out fresh and clean! The spin cycle sounds like a jet engine spinning up and when it's over the laundry needs very minimal drying time. I had my last washer for almost 15 years and I think this will be equally durable.

Great purchase. Hadn't had a new washing machine in a long time. Love the specific cycles. We live on a ranch so have a lot of mud, etc. around. The Power cycle is wonderful the way it takes care of the mud!

Frustrated, Maytag Instructions don't state load size, only a sketched illustration which later learned, is only an illustration. I recieved error codes after loading shirts to top band drain holes. Machine stalled for 3 minutes before rinse cycle. Next liad stalled for 6 minutes. I called Maytag Service Center, could not be told where load hieght and or size is listed in instructions.
New machine, Maytag sent out repair technician. Technician recovered "Overfill" error codes. I showed fill unstruction sketch. Was told not to load that high, error codes result.
Normal load limit is at mid hieght (12-Inces), and that space above should only be used for loading comforters. The machine has listed 5.3-CF size, LOAD Size is only 3-CF.

I have had this washer for 2 1/2 years and it has broken 3 times! Always the same thing where the control panel stops working. I had a used washer and dryer before we bought this and those lasted us 10 years without ANY issues!! I just called to get it fixed for the 3rd time and have to wait a week until they come out. I am tired of spending money at the laundromat when I paid so much for this "nice new" washer. Also, having little ones who are potty training makes for a LOT of laundry! I can't keep waiting weeks to have it up and running again. It doesn't even clean as well as my old washing machine which is ridiculous. At this point I want it replaced with something else! This is the worst washing machine I have ever seen and a huge waste of money. I'm hoping someone will see this and help because I was just on the phone with someone at Best Buy asking to speak to someone about getting it replaced and they hung up on me with no call back. To say I'm disappointed doesn't even cut it!!

I bought this about a month ago and love how much laundry i can do at once. I have always had an older machine with an agitator. The jury is still out on which machine actually cleans better....and I doubt this upgraded model will last the 25 years my old dependable one did. I'm happy with its features and hope it lasts even half as long.

I purchased this X-Large MayTag Washer a few weeks ago. I like the features, but my concern is the less-than-desired water level coverage & the soap is not actually seen on the clothing to confirm a good clean. Also, if washing bedding, oftentimes an error message appears asking you to move items around due to the load being "off balance".

I just bought my Maytag washer a couple of weeks ago, and I am very pleased. The equally as expensive one it replaced, not a Maytag, was a year old and was extremely loud when it would spin. It finally stopped completing a full cycle. Therefore, I returned to the brand I knew to be dependable, Maytag!! The only thing I wish it had is a quick wash cycle. Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and the matching dryer!!

After owning a Kenmore for only 3 years and it costing more to fix than it was worth... we decided to go with this washer. We went to 3 different store and knew that we definitely need a big washer. We are a family of 5 and 2 dogs. My husband is in the military and his uniforms take up a up a lot of space in the washer normally. Not this one. I can wash a king size comforter with no issue. Also, after looking at all the top brands we knew we didn't need any kind of smart options or anything to use the WiFi ( not sure why you would need it). We have the typical whit and saved another $100 just by the cooler. This machine is very quiet and most of our washes take about 55 min. It also has a pleasing ding when the load is done. You can change the volume of the ding or completely turn it off. We are hoping to get the dryer soon to match the washer.

Was very excited to get this home and enjoy the upgrade. Every load that comes out of the washer looks like a dust bunny. It doesn't matter if only a couple garments are washed or a whole load. A lot of clothes can't be thrown in the dryer nowadays because they shrink so much. There is no way to get the fuzz off of the clothes except wait for them to air dry on the rack and then use Industrial quantities of Lint Rollers. Wishing now that I had not purchased.

When I originally was shopping for a new washer I wanted a Maytag for the reliability and good name. After seeing many, COUNTLESS reviews on how bad they were now and I was worried about mine not being good I already was expecting to return the set. I was going to give them a chance and did a few loads (expecting clothes to come out dirty and tangled and dry) but when the clothes came out they came out CLEAN! better then I thought and better then my old washer with an agitator. I put my kids clothes that were full of chocolate ice cream and it came out like nothing was ever on it. I washed my KING white comforter and it was the cleanest I've seen it in a while (even after taking it to the cleaners) so I was impressed and all of a sudden I found myself waiting and wanting to do laundry! I love my new washer! I don't know what others are out there that don't work great but mine works fabulously. That's just how it washes. The features are awesome too. Many options for different clothing types. If you purchase, read the manual it'll help you know which setting to set it for your type of load. Tide pods are what I use and scent pearls and my clothes come out cleaner then ever.

Had my washer two weeks now and I really like the load size - I can now do in one load the same amount my old machine did in two. Very helpful. Also have to wash very dirty repair mechanic's uniforms and they are the cleanest ever. Only negative is the grinding noise it makes when changing gears.

We bought this machine about 3-4 weeks ago because the previous Maytag washer we had was 5 years old and making a lot of noise during the spin cycle plus always getting a UL error message. Turns out it was leaking oil underneath so it was a good idea to get a new Maytag. We've had Maytag's in the past and were happy with them so it was a no brainer to get another one plus we got a great deal. We are very happy with the size of the drum and the modern controls. Working great and very quiet.
