We've had this dishwasher for 2 years. We have tried just about every detergent but it seldom cleans all utensils and especially glasses. Debris is left in the glasses. We clean the filter every other day. The only thing we can say good about it is that it is quiet. Our previous dishwasher was a Whirlpool but never again.

Reliable and works. Quiet. The silverware tray is a little flimsy and comes undone sometimes when it shouldn't. Overall, a steady and solid performer.

Multiple Problems After 2.5 years!

We had this dishwasher installed in our newly built home 2.5 years ago. It has cleaned the dishes well while it has worked. As far as the dishes not drying, the answer to that is use "Jet Dry" otherwise, yes they will still be wet. The two problems we encountered were the following: 1. The dispensing tray stopped dispensing the jet dry (leaving the dishes wet) - $200 fix (P & L) and 2. The pump sprung a leak under the dishwasher. That is causing us a lot more problems as it warped our kitchen floor and damaged the ceiling in our finished basement before we were aware it was happening. We are choosing not to repair and take our chances with this dishwasher any longer.

I have had my dishwasher about a month and it does a fantastic job! It gets the dishes clean and leaves no water spots and has even cleaned tea stains out of tea cups.I am not too fond of the silverware tray although one of the selling features is that it is still in the door. The silverware tray has a way to stack the silverware in and I don't use it because it is slow to load.I have been a Whirlpool customer for years and will continue to be so as long as the appliances remain to be the best.

The pump motor(causing the spraying action) failed after 2 years. This essentially is the dishwasher.Having this professionally replaced approached the price of a new machine. Fortunately it is a fairly easy DIY for little over $100 for new motor via internet. Otherwise machine worked well.

This machine has so many operating options but is very easy to program. I can quickly choose what I want in temperature, operating and start times, and how i want the dishes to dry. I set it and walk away without second-guessing myself! When I get home at night, the dishes are spotless. Only con is that it's smaller than the machine I replaced with it, for similar features and price point. You may need a bigger one if you have a large family so check the cu. ft. capacity before you buy!

The tray that holds flatware has useless slots in it. I have two different sets offlatware and the handles only fit in one row. All the other individual slotsare too small. The flatware doesn't come clean unless I scrub it before putting itin the dishwasher. Actually, everything needs to be pretty clean or will notcome out clean.

We bought a Whirlpool a while ago and it wasn't right from day one. Wilson Appliance in Plattsburgh, NY kept sending a repairman and it finally seemed like they had it right - after MONTHS of trying. Months turned out to be the operative word, because it only worked for a couple months. They finally replaced the original one and so far - knock on wood - this one works fine. It's quiet but doesn't dry as well as our old dishwasher did. Would I buy another? Probably not. Don't trust the quality.

we didn't want a lot of bells and whistles on our new appliances so this dishwasher fits the bill without sacrificing quality:Pros (we don't use fine china, but more "everyday" stuff and not a lot of plastic):* Cleans the dishes* Holds quite a bit of stuff* Washes dishes quickly* Easy to use and looks goodCons:* Not super quiet (we knew this going in that it was going to be a nosier one based on the dba level, but didn't want to spend the extra money)* Dishes in the top rack will still have some pooling of water (mostly on the cups and tupperware items, but I think that is pretty common

I really like my new dishwasher. I didn't use my old one much because it wouldn't get the dishes clean and I would have to wash them when they came out of the dishwasher. The one thing I'm not too keen on is the placement of the utensil holder in the door. I find it awkward.

We are well pleased with our new Whirlpool dishwasher. We live on a farm in rural area and have very hard water so spotting can be a major issue. This dishwasher does a excellent job of cleaning and not leaving spots on dishes.

My last washer was so loud we couldn't turn it on at night. With my new whirlpool dishwasher, I can turn it on (Eco setting __) at night and empty in the morning. It doesn't keep myself or my kids up at night. The washer cycle can last from 30-45 min, depending on what setting you out on; so it very quick. I don't use it as mush but my husband loves the time delay setting, 2 or 4 hours.

I've only been using it for less than 3 months, but it's quieter than my other dishwashers and seems to clean pretty efficiently. The dishes tend to hold water and there is an unpleasant odor that I didn't experience in my last house after several years of using the same dishwasher so I don't know if it's the dishwasher or the water here.

I bought this model as a close out, and the price was outstanding. The wash and delay features are great. It cleans the dishes wonderfully, but there are a couple of catches that I would improve upon. The silverware basket in the door is awkward to load and the basket door is difficult to keep closed when trying to load. The space in the rolling dish baskets is not big enough for a Hotel 1/2 pan to sit without placing it diagonally and hotel 1/2 sheet pans stop the cleaning arms from rotating so we have to wash them by hand. Other than that it looks great and cleans great.

We replaced our old noisy dishwasher with this one. At first, I felt that since it was built so light with plastics that I was not going to like the quality of it at all. But then, I was very pleasantly surprised how quiet it was......I mean "really quiet". It is so quiet I can talk on the phone in the same room which I couldn't do with my old dishwasher. I'm enjoying the larger space for the dishes and glasses as well as the larger untensil holder space. It is easy to use and the directions are good.
