I purchased and installed this dishwasher, and at first we were very happy with it. Very quiet and sharp looking in our kitchen. After year 2 it started having troubles, and it would finish a cycle and dishes would be as dirty as when they went in. The washer motor would only start pumping every other cycle we started it. Now it has completely stopped working and the replacement motor will be $300, just for the part. I consider the washer motor to be a fairly important component in a dishwasher and can't believe Whirlpool is making ones that fail after 2 years! No doubt this bill will be $500+ to install. Very disappointing.

With prior dishwashers, we have always waited to run it when we went to bed, because they were too noisy to run while watching tv or having a conversation. This Whirlpool is so quiet, we barely notice it.

we purchased this unit a short while ago to replace an older unit. we installed it ourselves, the instructions were very good and easy to follow. When we turned the unit on for the first time we had to check to ensure the unit was running. The entire cycle is so quiet it's amazing. The cutlery basket being on the door allows a lot more space for dishes etc.

REPLACED WITH SIMULAR MODEL THAT WAS 14 YRS OLD. THIS IS A LITTLE MORE QUIET WITH MOST OF THE SAME FEATURES, MINUS THE BUILT-IN GARBAGE DISPOSAL. LONGER CYCLES, BUT CLEANS A LITTLE BETTER.

I purchased this dishwasher to replace my 20 year old Whirlpool Gold dishwasher. The old model was fantastic - great features and great performance, but the years took a toll on old faithful and it was time to retire it. I spent about 6 months doing my research on what was the best buy for me, something that would work as well or better. I found it in this model. My only complaint is that there's no rinse-only option. The great news is that the interior is massive, the flexibility of location of the silverware holder is better than most dishwashers,the machine is super quiet, and the cleaning performance exceeded my expectations. I hoping for many years of trouble free dishwashing.

I've had this dishwasher less than two weeks but I have to say it's the best one I've ever owned. It's so quiet and you can't even hear it running and the dishes come out very clean. I do recommend adding a rinse aid and dishwasher salt to aid in the drying process. Silverware comes out cleaner than in any other dishwasher I've used previously because of the targeted jets that spray on top of them. Hopefully it will continue to work excellently for years to come!

We recently purchased this dishwasher to replace our extremely outdated one that was falling apart. It looks very nice in the kitchen, gets the dishes clean, and runs extremely quiet (unlike the prior one) I'm happy we went with the stainless tub and I enjoy using it. As far as longevity or any issues, I can't speak, because we have only had it for a few weeks.

I purchased this dishwasher mainly because it has the stainless steel tub like the unit I purchased at my old house. I was very pleased with the performance of the previous dishwasher and mistakenly assumed that this machine would work as well or better since it's newer with more technology. What a huge mistake to assume such things.There is no Rinse & Hold Cycle, this unit has a filter that must be cleaned instead of the hard food disposer the previous unit had. This machine does NOT provide DRY dishes. Even the next morning after using the High Temp Wash, Sani and Heated Dry options do the dishes get completely dry like they did in my previous dishwasher. The Sensor cycle takes well over 4 hours, the new re-designed silverware basket and silverware spray doesn't get the silver as clean as my old unit did.Mark me HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!

Easy to install, super quiet! Full cycle with dryer seems to take a long time, like 3+ hours, so plan accordingly. Does a great job getting dishes clean. AAANNNDDD - like I said before - it' super quiet!

We bought this dishwasher to replace a GE unit that still worked but the cleaning ability had fallen short for quite some time. We are ecstatic with the performance with the Whirlpool. I can't hear it running, the dishes are crystal clean and the versatility of rack adjustments allow for larger items to fit with ease.

I have owned this dishwasher for a month now and it is so handy. My old kitchen didn't have one, so it is a true time saver. It does an excellent job as well. I had dirty silverware the first time because I didn't load them correctly. So, I would recommend reading the manual especially if you are new to having a dishwasher. You have to flip the flaps on the silverware caddy down an insert the silverware through the holes to keep them separated. The one thing I don't like is the soap dispenser is too close to the silverware caddy. There isn't enough room to insert the silverware on that end. They sometimes get jammed.

This dishwasher replaced a 10 year old Whirlpool dishwasher, and what a difference. The cycles are quiet; the cycle choices are easy to understand. It looks sleek (we chose the White Ice option), and is easy to clean. Downside: the handle is rather thin, and since it is used to open the dw multiple times daily, is apt to loosen. Service call is in to address that.

I bought the dishwasher a month ago and it is so wonderful! I have tile floor throughout my house and I was concerned it would echo! Not at all! I put a crock pot on the power wash cycle and it cleaned all of it! No scrubbing required! The dishes come out perfect every time!
