Everything you need is right in front of you, not hidden in dark lower shelves. I removed one bin (lots of bins!) that I didn't use & it added more space for easier to access items. There is a shelf that can be recessed to give you more room for taller things. The freezer has lots of space & the ice is very easy to reach. I really REALLY love this fridge!

Didn't need a fridge, but ally liked the design and it fit the space available. A bit shorter with slightly less capacity of my old one, however very nice. I really like the bottom freezer feature.

We loved our new refrigerator....up until a couple days ago when we found water puddles on the floor. The bottom of the freezer compartment was full of water and dripping out. Glad we have a tile floor.....a wood floor would have been ruined. Hope Whirlpool will resolve this issue. As far as the features of this model....we really like all of them especially the drawers...celery fits in without cutting it or squeezing it in diagonally!

Bought this model a little less than a year ago and everything was great to start out with. Then the freezer started to over freeze and frost over everything, even with it set lower than the recommended setting. Also, every other day or so, we have to chip away a huge sheet of ice that builds up on the bottom of the freezer. At least once a day for the past month, we have found puddles on our floor that has been coming from the freezer. The actual fridge half does not get very cold on some days, and perfectly chilled on others. We have done all the recommended trouble shooting and still no change. Not worth the $2000 that was paid when there are other models that are slightly cheaper with better quality and reviews. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

We bought this refrigerator a few weeks ago and I just love the features! The features in this fridge are everything we were looking for: chilled or room-temp water in the door, automatic icemaker in the drawer, roomy enough to hold a week's worth of groceries and leftovers, large drawer thinner on bottom plus 2 vegtable/fruit drawers, and adjustable shelving to accomodate various sizes of dishes and bottles. The doors also have a good amount of storage including gallon size. We are very pleased with our purchase.

Here are the problems with this refrigerator:
- Not finger print resistant, and they show. How could whirlpool not apply that coating when it is on their other appliances?
- Insufficient number of shelves, and height (even when lowered a level) to place tall objects like a glass milk bottle on the top shelf.
- No butter or egg holder in the side door (not wide enough for egg carton); cheap plastic holders in doors.
- Tall objects don't fit in the door holders. I had to remove one of them to fit in my milk bottle (which won't fit on the top)
- After a glass or two of water, the water is not cold.
- No ice in door
- Not many trays for veggies and fruit and the large tray requires both doors to be open to access
- Freezer only has 3 compartments and not much room. No shelves
When I bought it I considered the side by side, but the side by side got bad reviews for being noisy, so I thought I would be trendy and get the French doors for $400 extra. Big mistake for the reasons above!!! Wish I could swap and get the extra $400 back, but then it might mess up the $250 rebate. :(
I gave two stars instead of one because after two weeks it seems to run ok

Do not buy. Do not waste your hard earned money. Bought this refrigerator 2.5 years ago. In the first 2 months this refrigerator model had so many defects that it was replaced twice. Now having frost problems, more defective parts to be replaced. An almost $2000 refrigerator with repairs costing another $1200. Always another repair. Whirlpool your quality is garbage. So disappointed. I wanted a made in America product. Will never buy one again.

I bought this refrigerator 5 months ago, service dept has been out 9 times and it still won't get below 45 degrees. They finally sent out new one and they had to send it back because the cord was bad. They sent out another one and it has the same problems, now they are not returning our calls.

I wish we had taken more time to pick out, would rather had the outside dispenser kick out ice instead of water. Also would have like more interior room for taller items. Overall I do like it!!!!! Had to remove middle shelf for my taller items.

After owning this product for 2 years it starting making a retched noise. Build up of frost around fan in freezer compartment. I have to remove all my food, pull it out(which I am on disability and should not be doing) unplug and let it defrost. I have been doing this for 6 months. Five repairmen trips and everyone has a different answer. First guy order a thermostat and that took 5 or 6 weeks to get(back ordered)? Really? Next guy said drain was plugged(wrong) didn't make a difference. Third guy I had freezer set to cold 3 snowflakes he turned it down to 2 and my food defrosted and I had to throw away.

The new fridge fit perfectly in my space. I love the fold away shelf. I previously had a fridge with water and ice dispenser and wanted similar features. The one flaw is that there is not enough lightning. There are lights at the top of the fridge only so when you fill it, it is darker at the bottom. It would be nice to have more lights on the sides or back toward the middle shelves.

Purchased New in 2017 and within four months we have had it replaced two times, 3 of the same refrigerator and all have different issues, this last one has already had 2 repairs to it and is awaiting a 3rd repair. Obviously Whirlpool is Awful Quality now and since we haven't had this for a year and it's sustaining several repairs, I am sure I will need to buy a New fridge soon and it won't be a Whirlpool! We had a Whirlpool refrigerator and freezer that didn't need any repairs for many, many years and the old old refrigerator even survived the 2016 flood waters but we didn't want to use it after it went through that but it was better than the new one. I won't purchase Whirlpool or Maytag products again (our new Maytag washer is horrible too). So sad to lose everything to a flood and purchase brand new appliances from companies you have trusted, enjoyed, depended on and referred to others for years only to find out just how the company has lost all quality standards!

I had this refrigerator for 3 days when the cooling fan went out. I had just moved into my new home and had moved all my food over before I moved in the next day. When I got here all my food was spoiled. The freezer was as cool as a refrigerator should be and my refrigerator was warm. Over $200 in food gone... called out service guy, it was the cooking fan. That was Thursday morning he came, said he will come around Wednesday to install new part... HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Don't like stars as temperature control either, I want exact numbers...

We bought this unit primarily because it fit the dimensions for the refrigerator space in our kitchen. We were also interested in the French door feature. Overall this is a good, solid refrigerator, and replaces a1995/96? side by side Whirlpool, which has also proven to be a good, solid refrigerator (now residing in our garage and continuing to work well). We like the expanded space the French door feature provides and the convenient freezer drawer. The individual fruit, vegetable, and meat drawers are definitely a plus. All items are easy to see at a glance. It is easy to clean. Our compliant with this unit is the very limited ability to adjust shelves. The top shelf (or any shelf/door storage area for that matter) lacks sufficient height for wine, two litre bottles, or many taller juice bottles. A plastic milk jug can just barely squeeze in with no clearance. The second shelf is a narrow space and not very practical; however, we've made it work and are able to make use of our older fridge for additional storage. This model probably works best for a smaller family, but overall we are pleased with our purchase.

The place in our kitchen for the refrigerator is boxed in so we had to find a refrigerator that fit. This one was perfect. It is quiet and does an excellent job. The touch panel allows us to set temps without having to get into the refrigerator like on our old model. We have had it for over a month and are very pleased.

Bought this fridge in November and have had a chance to give a review. The shelves are not a good design, if you move the top shelve to the rungs you can't fit anything high like milk or juice as it hits the top of the fridge. The next shelve gives about a 6 inch space which also has a rung underneath which hampers putting things in thr bottle shelf. Also things at the back of the fridge freezes
The shelves on the door are shaped that they will not accommodate a lot of items. There us no butter or cheese compartment. The pull out freezer is perfect.

Needed a new frig for a small space. Purchased this one in white. Plenty of space and it has a large ice maker in the freezer. It really updated my kitchen. The only draw back was I had to pay extra to order the white. Purchased it at PC Richards service was great!

Three months after installation we woke up to find a huge puddle of water on the floor and the bottom of the freezer under the draw coated in a sheet of ice. A service request under warranty was responded to quickly and a local certified repairman came and cleared a clog in the interior drainage line. Unfortunately, a month later the same problem has re-occurred. Another service request was promptly addressed and an appointment scheduled. Speaking with the authorized repair company revealed that several other owners of a Whirlpool refrigerator in our area are experiencing the same problem. We're hoping for a permanent fix, perhaps a replacement kit for the internal drain system. We'll find out. Time will tell. Other than that it is an excellent refrigerator, but this issue is what compels me to rate it two stars instead of five. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product to anyone until Whirlpool fixes what appears a systemic problem with the design.

Had some issues with shelves not moving appropriately and flemsy plastic pieces broke off day one. I needed a smaller depth fridge for my space. It is adequate but only if you don't need interior height for a standard size gallon of milk. Only 1 small section for that. The alternative shelves cannot fit a standard size 16 oz bottle of water either... too tall.
