when we bought our first home we had to replace the stove and bought this one. almost exactly 2 years after purchase, i was cooking all day and it just couldnt handle it. the glass top literally exploded and cracked. i cook a lot, and can only use one burner. when requesting service thru this site, there wasnt really an option for cracked glass. we've been waiting at least two weeks for a replacement top and repair.

generally we were happy with this purchase until a month after the one year warranty expired. the black cooktop surface is chipping off. it only gets worse every time we clean it. this is my second full samsung appliance suite package and there will not be a third.

I purchased this range at Best Buy 3 months ago. I cook ALL the time & am known for my good cooking. Since buying this range, I'm having to re-learn everything. Stove top is way too hot. Boils rapidly even when turned down to 2. Has ruined several of my favorite pots and my pancake griddle which is near impossible to use on simple things like pancakes or grilled cheese sandwiches without over-browning and/or burning.
Writing this review because I just burned a pot of pinto beans... My family has suffered through burned food more in the last couple months since I bought this range than they've had the whole rest of their lives. Also the addition of the warmer burner in the back is worthless since if you are cooking much on the other burners no pot/pan will even fit there. Would not recommend. Not as important, but just as a side note, I also have to clean the stove top constantly even when it hasn't been used, as it shows every little smudge and crumb. I never had this problem with my previous GE range.

We have had this range for almost a year now, the cook top works very well. The oven not as well, when you set it to temperature the dinger goes off indicating it has reached set temp. After a few times using it we found food not to be cooked. so we used a thermometer and found the oven to be 5 degrees off i.e. set to 350 actual temp 345.

This range has been great. It has just the right amount of features, without going overboard. We use both the regular oven settings, and the convection bake depending on what we are cooking. The fast boil burners (2) are a big help when cooking noodles and other foods such as that. The oven is large enough for a 25 lbs. turkey. It only came with two racks, but is big enough for a third rack. Suggestion to Samsung to consider a third rack.

I have had this about 6 weeks and love everything about it. The functionality of the burners allows me to use various pan sizes and heats them quickly. The oven heats quickly to the desired temp. Easy to clean on the outside also.

more than 50f discrepancy in oven temperature. the right front burner is defective- only 2 settings: high or off. low setting does not work. worst range top i have ever had.

I have been extremely happy with my oven and cooktop until yesterday where I used the self clean for the first time. After aprox 1 hour the panel turned black and now I can not open the oven.
I read on internet it happens a lot and do not know what to do--It should be Samsung--they should be interested in helping although it is not longer under warranty. If it happens this frequently it must be an error in fabrication-it can't be an oven with self clean can't self clean. I have had it for 3 years but it is in a vacation home so only used for a total of 6 months

Definitely the best oven I have ever owned. Sleek high quality design, with enough stainless to make it stand out in the kitchen. The convection oven takes a little time to get used to, but it cooks food evenly and saves time in the oven. Very easy to clean. Has ample space in the storage drawer.

I bought this about 6 weeks ago. The baking and roasting with convection work well. The stovetop is not so wonderful. Compared to my last electric, flat top range the heating elements are slower to cook on. There are two spots with "rapid boil", which just seem like normal function - the rest are slow. Also, I don't really like the configuration of having the two largest burners in the front...why not stagger them and have one larger toward the back. It makes it more difficult to manage multiple items on the cook top.
Additionally, if you have a small child around you may want to avoid this burner configuration so that you have at least one large "go to" element that is less easy for a child to accidentally interact with.
This is the third glass top range I've had and this one is more difficult to keep clean as well. I'm very diligent about using the proper cleaning products and cleaning after each use, but there are three to four tiny spots that I can't remove already. I managed to keep my others looking nearly brand new for years.
So, this is very average. I wouldn't buy it again.
