When we bought this Condo the dishwasher came with it. It is not like we had a choice of dishwashers but I can honestly say that even if I had been given the choice the Whirlpool would hands down been my choice. It is quiet, does an excellent job with sparkling dishes. Thank you Whirlpool

Bought it last month to replace an old Whirlpool (1990's model) and we are so impressed with this unit. The clean dishes and silverware are spotless! It is so quiet I had to do an ear to door contact to make sure it was running the first couple of times. Just follow the instructions that came with the unit, soap, rinse aid, etc., and you will have no problems.

This dishwasher is SO quiet, I had to bend down & put my ear up close to see if it was actually running. My old DW was SO loud, it clanked and you could even hear the water swishing around, it was 15 years old. So happy to retire it and update my kitchen-beautiful!

The capacity of this dishwasher is half again greater than our previous dishwasher. I was surprised how quiet it is. We could have a normal conversation next to the running dishwasher. The cleanliness of the dishes after washing is excellent.

I have probably run this dishwasher for or five times since I've had it. I love Whirlpool and have a history of several appliances, including a refrigerator that is 15 years old with no issues, save fixing a freezeup of an icemaker line. So far so good! Everything comes out clean and dry.

I purchased what I believed to be a good Whirlpool dishwasher for $709.99 in December 2015 as part of a new home construction appliance package. I closed on the home in March of 2016. I did not purchase the extended warranty due to the unacceptable price. Also, it should not be needed on a good quality product. They also tend to be cash cows for the seller. We only have a family of two, and we do very little entertaining, so the dishwasher was not subjected to any kind of extraordinary wear and tear. After the 1-year warranty expired, the problems started. A failed pump assembly in March 2018 cost me $372.06, and a failed heater circuit on the main control board in November 2019 cost me $379.80. That's $751.86 in repairs in just over 3.5 years---more than the purchase cost. Now, the wheels are starting to fall off the bottom rack due to the connectors not holding them in place. Yet more money if I choose to keep throwing it at this money pit machine!
I've contacted Whirlpool customer service numerous times, but my complaints have fallen on mostly deaf ears. They expressed their regret regarding my experience, but they refuse to acknowledge that I was the victim of a very-poor quality appliance. They cite the age of the machine as the reason they cannot offer me any kind of acceptable compensation. Apparently, 3-4 years meets their expectations for the lifetime of a machine, and that includes all the repairs. Unless they decide to raise their hand and admit that I got a lemon, I won't be purchasing another Whirlpool dishwasher in the future. I've spent far less money up front--with far less repairs costs--on other dishwasher in my 30+ years. I realize that prices have risen over the years, but I'm keeping this in perspective to the costs of Whirlpools over the years. This was my first Whirlpool, and my last, without being compensated for my very poor-quality experience.
Research on Consumer Reports revealed the Bosch brand to be far superior to Whirlpool. I encourage anyone considering a Whirlpool to look at Bosch instead. However, if you want to look forward to repair bills and unresponsive customer service, Whirlpool is the one for you!

So far I am very pleased with the functionality and look of the dishwasher. It's only been a couple of weeks so I don't want to jinx myself but all is real good with this machine. Can't hear it when it's running except when it's discharging water of course and the stainless steel exterior has not gotten spotted, smudged or stained with anything. Amazing how the exterior keeps its looks. Lets not forget the wash. We love the 1 hour wash cycle. Great feature. Easy to use panel to select heated dry or not and the other features. Big Thumbs Up!!

We run this at least 2-3 times per week and hands down my top 2 favorite appliance ever (next to my Romba). We eat at home a lot and make piles of dishes. Gets it all clean and dry - no spots when I use Finish Powerball - even removed hard water stains from a prior house to make glasses spotless. Gets all the silverware super clean and hasn't failed me yet. Love moving the racks to do our large pots and hasn't killed my wine glasses like others have. Very quite and I forget it's running - also the delay 2-4-6 hour is nice when evening showers start and I don't want to use all the hot water. Great value and product!

We've had this dishwasher for one month now, and so far it's been very good (see footnote below). It is very quiet and energy efficient, and has a beautiful sleek design. The dishes are clean and dry each time. The silverware rack in the door gives extra space for dinnerware in the bottom rack, which is great. One design flaw is the filter that has to be rinsed once a month and that is difficult to take out and replace. Our only other issue is with the adjustable top rack. We have tall wine glasses that don't fit well in the top rack. When we push it down to fit the wine glasses, there isn't enough room in the bottom rack for our large dinner plates. This is, however, a relatively minor issue. Overall we are very pleased with this dishwasher.
Footnote: After two weeks, the machine started making strange noises and wouldn't drain at the end of the cycle. We called for repair, and the technician found a small piece of glass from a broken wineglass in the drain pump, that had somehow made its way through the filter. After this was removed, the dishwasher once again worked perfectly!

I purchased the product from Lowes.....I did like the fact that is was soaking wet when I opened the box - must store the product outside. Washer does a good job of cleaning and is very quiet - love that. The only problem I have with the manufacture of the washer is the plastic inlet value - very easy to damage when hooking up water supply. Unfortunately for me I had to buy a new valve at $66.00 because of thread damage.
